What are your fence post caps made of?
We offer several styles of post caps. Our SNAP-Cap fence post caps are made from ASA Resin. This automotive grade plastic is a lightweight, impact-resistant material that has significant UV and weather resistance built-in. We also blend an additional anti-UV package into the virgin material before injection molding. We guarantee these post caps for 10 years against warping and fading. Everyone has a style and aesthetic difference; however, we typically recommend the pyramid post caps for fences and the flat top caps to be used as deck post caps.
Our metal post caps are die-cast aluminum offered in plain and powder-coated options. We guarantee the finish on these caps for one year.
Our solar post caps are guaranteed by the manufacturer for 1 year.
Our PVC post caps are guaranteed for 1 year.
Can my post caps be painted?
Yes, all of the plastic post caps can be painted. The pyramid, flat top and PVC post caps can all be painted using a plastic ready paint. We recommend brands such as Krylon Fusion or Rustoleum. Although, the best results will be achieved using a professional spray gun. The aluminum post caps can certainly be painted, but we recommend speaking with your local hardware store to determine the appropriate paint for your region and climate.

Our metal post caps and solar post caps are made in China with a contracted manufacturer.

What are the dimensions of the post caps?
The base of our post caps slide down the post 1.5", except on the Economy models, which only slide down 3/4".
How wide are the post caps?

If you have a post too close to a wall, use a fine-tooth saw blade to cut our ASA Resin post caps to fit your particular space.
