Flat Top Newel - 4x4 Post Caps

Our flat top 4x4 post caps are the perfect compliment for decks and railings. They also work perfectly on fence posts, but we feel the flat-top shape lends a little functionality for outdoor entertaining as a great place to store a drink or décor while on your deck. This style, also known as Nantucket or Newel post caps, come in black, brown, cedar, olive green, grey, and white.

Our flat top deck caps come in both nominal and actual sizes and are backed by our 10 Year Guarantee. 4x4 Post caps come in two different sizes, so be sure to measure your wood posts before ordering. Standard, pressure treated 4x4 posts generally measure 3.5 inches. Rough cut, untreated, and composite 4x4 posts generally measure a true 4" or larger. Don't worry though, even if you order the wrong size, we have a 30 day return window and will take them back with no hassle.

The nominal flat top fence post toppers will fit wood posts that are between 3.5” x 3.5” and 3.75” x 3.75”. Actual or True size Flat top 4x4 post caps fit posts whose measurements are between 4” x 4” and 4.5” and 4.5”. The flat-top 4x4 post caps come in black, brown, cedar, and white.
